This school year, the State of Arizona has decided to move forward with state mandated testing for our Sophomore and Junior students. State testing this year will provide us with valuable information to address the challenges that occurred due to the coronavirus pandemic. The data collected during the exams can help us understand student needs as we return to school next year. We encourage all students, whether remote or in-person learners, to join us ON CAMPUS for their testing days.
We know it has been a very difficult school year for many of our students and their families, but we believe in the resilience of our community and truly believe that the data collected from these tests will help all our Maya Strong students in the Fall. ALL tests will be in person. That means, even those who have chosen to be fully virtual in Block 4 need to come to campus on their designated testing date. We understand that this requirement may be very challenging for some families. Please contact Mr. Welsh, if you need support with this criteria so we can come up with a plan. As always, our number one focus and priority is the education and safety of our students. We will do our best to meet the state requirements of testing all students while still being as safe as possible. If you have any questions, please contact our office at 602-242-3442 or stop by our office so that we can assist you further. Please review the schedule below to view your students scheduled date.
